Well finally, page 3 is finished. I actually finished two days ago, but between my schedule and photobucket being uncooperative, I couldn't post it until today...but that's what happens when you're too eager, I guess. haha On to page 4!! This one should be quick...it's a shorter page, and I'm supereager to get it done! Wish me luck...

Slowwww!
I am a slow stitcher! It's getting close to the end of the page now, and I want to stitch day and night, but apparently I can't do that, because I have RESPONSIBILITEEEEEES... Growl! Why can't the laundry clean itself?! Why can't we have take-out every night for dinner!? After the boys are in bed tonight, my time is mine to stitch! Who needs clean socks, anyway?

Summer is over...sad!
Well, I'm embarrassed to say...I really haven't done any stitching over the summer. Too many things to do...hoping for sunny weather and trying to make the best of the rain. But I'm back. I did some stitching Sunday and again last night, so I may be back on the stitching roll. I'll post a picture in the next few days, as I'm getting closer to finishing that page! I love when I see progress! All for now...

Happy Easter!
Happy Easter to everyone! You would think I would have some time between eating chocolate eggs and bunnies to post a picture, wouldn't you?! Who knew someone could do so much laundry on Easter Sunday. But I promise, before midnight tonight, I will post a picture. Not quite finished the third page, but there's enough done to see some progress. Can't wait to get that page done. It's really motivating me!

New Purchases
So, HAED had a 50% off sale and I bought some charts. Only two, cause I have so many now, I will have to stitch until I'm 150 years old to come close to doing them all.
The first is Fairy at Sunset by Julie Fain.
.
The second is The Dreamer, also by Julie Fain

Introducing: Ginger!
I thought you should meet the little imp who likes my crosstitch so much. She looks innocent, but don't be fooled!
So, here I am...
Yes, so here I am. I'm new to this, so please bear with me! My intention is to post my progress on my crosstitching success, and possibly frustrating failures, and share with you all the exciting news about the harrowing experiences of my precious crosstiching. Yes, my dog often grabs my crosstich! One of the children usually find her trying to have a good chew on either the end of my Q-snap, the ravelling ends of my fabric, or chewing a a skein of floss off a bobbin. Trust me, once a dog has slobbered and chewed on your floss, it's no longer usable!
I'm currently working on a piece from Heaven and Earth Designs called Daisy Fairy. I was introduced to HAED in 2009 by my good friend Vani. It's one of those addictions that you thank people for. I was most willing to try it, because there is no backstitching (which I hate!). So I reluctantly switched from very easy 14ct colour patterns to 25ct black and white patterns! Quite the switch, but I haven't looked back. I have recently changed to 18ct to save my eyesight, but the coverage and look of the stitching is still great. We'll see how it looks finished.
